ok the table was the worst i have played on all season a horrible right hand role on the table pockets whippy and really struggled with the top 1 score over 4k i must admit i cant wait to play on this in the league to see what its like as was a struggle for most id say but as always the venue was faultless

A shame about the Greyhound table. It was dead level when I left it at lunchtime. It is never easy and the pockets are whippy but it should not have had a roll anywhere.

The table was lovely. Derek spilled an 8k break and I lost a 3.5k one. Neil B had a black peg out, which didn't help his chances. Very sociable evening with the Greyhound team. Thanks to the Plough for some very tasty mini baguettes and other nibbles. I guess we won't be defending our plate this year! ;)

My team wanted to know where they were playing first game in the new year. Has there been a team cup/plate draw that I have missed? Team Cup Elimination Round due on Jan 9th: Main: St Francis, Hurst A, Phoenix, Plough, HHUSC, Eight Bells Plate: Horns Lodge, Laughing Fish, Watermill, Hurst B, Bravos, Greyhound. 4 from each of the above pools have to play each other and in each case the remaining two have Byes to the Semi-Finals. A committee meeting was held this week, so hopefully the Draw will soon be forthcoming.
