Eastbourne v Mid Sussex played at the hospital club Eastbourne

Result Eastbourne win 5-2
Hospital top was leveled up pretty badly when we arrived tonight (not played there since tarratt had set it up) and certainly not impressed with their work so far, so had to make some last minute adjustments again, did our best, regretfully wasn't as we would have liked but was a lot more level than when we started.
Lee broke down on the first split, Trevor got the break back 4 times and easily secured the 1 st win.
Ditto for game 2 colin ended up 6k ahead, Paul was working on 3k+ with only a short time to go but Black pegged.
Chris T and Roy had a great match Roy 1800 ahead Chris then played a gutsy 1900 break ending up 100 ahead with 1 ball left and made sure of the hunderd to win.
Chris H played steadily and was always ahead
Peter was knocking pegs over for the 1st 3rd of the game, but gradually caught Richard up at the death and potted some key balls after the bar had dropped snatching the game and the match
Stewart and geoff both struggled with a top that was getting harder as ther night progressed, both were racking up points slowly, Stewart caught up near the end but lipped a ball round the 50 to take the black peg AGAIN, perhaps he should be put out to pasture or worse :o
Lee Anchored the final leg gradually extending the lead
Nice match with plenty of rolls and sarnies at the interval, the result could easily gone the other way tonight but the Eastbourne boys rode their luck when it mattered ( except stewart of course)
PS have taken some more photos will post them when i figure out how to get them out of the camera memory when no memeory stick was used.
