Just thought with all the talk about the Grand Prix dress code, we may as well have a vote on it!
Obviously, if you are voting other, then please state what! Like going for the "Dave France" look ;) ;D
Or should it be a different theme every year?

Or should it be a different theme every year? I'll go for "Tarts" and "Vicars" for this year. Ideas for future years: Roman togas Jedi Knights ;D ;D

Ideas for future years: Roman togas Jedi Knights ;D ;D I think that you are getting confused with the Redhill Charity Inter League Competition Tommo.... we don't want all the players to be distracted and start knocking Black Pegs over here as I seem to remember that happened to a certain player a couple of years ago! :o ;D ;D My vote went for shirt and trousers.... smart but still with the option to be comfortable. 8-)

i don't think you can stop anyone from playing in this tournament due to what there wearing so i feel trousers and a shirt is a fair request maybe even saying not jeans.

Shirt & trousers for me but not "JUST" shirt & trousers as I like to wear socks and underpants (slips) as well.

Maybe shirts like dart players wear, with black trousers, with nick names on the back etc, these are fairly cheap to buy off ebay 8-)

GUILTY!! GUILTY!! GUILTY!!
Feelings of guilt can really weigh heavy on old shoulders ;) I truly do not want Ian or Bill to miss out on such a privileged event :'(
It is clear that the winds of change are blowing strong.
There are of course NO RULE on dress code for the GRAND PRIX and therefor I cannot enforce the dress code :-X
I will be happy for Ian and Bill to wear smart casual. ie Black trousers-White shirt/polo shirt :)

I think Dave Alder has a good idea - smart black trousers (ie no jeans as bobble says), white shirt or polo shirt whichever is comfier for the player - some are happier in a shirt, some prefer polo shirts as they fit looser giving more maneuverability. I see both sides and agree and understand. I also think that such a prestige event should be respected as such and a smart casual dress code is acceptable but should also not be dis-respectful - i.e. t-shirt and jeans.

Unfortunately Ian Lelliott will now be in Belgium Next weekend
I can only hope that ALL players be respectful for this year as I have put this subject up for discussion at the AGM

I'm seriously considering joining the dress code of the Grand Prix and going full Tux, any excuse to dust it off and go 007 stylie :D SilverFox will have to make a strategic hole in his Tuxedo for the brush to fit through. ;D ;D
