Is there any way that some parameters could be inserted so that the AEBBA Rules could print out in booklet form ? :-/

Clive, I was going to explain to you how to do it but I realised I could do it in that time and upload it ::) You have to print '2 to a page' along with any double sided options you have in your printing settings. Or you have to print page 1, turn over print p2, new sheet print p3, turn over etc docs.google.com/open?id=0B3LILge-tdQ8ZDMxRWZRN1ZtRTQSorry for the external link -> mods please edit and upload as necessary

Thanks, Enzo, I'll give it a go.
I remember Sav saying the booklet was available, but sometimes I can't see the wood for the trees ! ;D
[edit - no, failed miserably, my print settings won't allow '2 to a page' plus 'double sided'..........will require the definitive "idiot's guide"] ;D

Nice one Enzo but I found the pagination didn't quite work when printing 2 per page.
I've done a PDF of the rules (no text editing done!!) that you can print out pages 1 and 3, turn them over and print 2 and 4 on the other side. It should then fold into an A% booklet which is what Tommo wanted I think? Could you try it Clive pls?
cheers Tony

Tony Hi Tony, you're totally right, when I tested it it was fine but between adding the AEBBA logo and re-uploading I managed to muddle the order up almost completely backwards! The Mrs was rushing me out the door though so I blame her haha! :P I'll keep your copy I can never get my software to do what you have and put 2 on a page properly, it always prints out weird so I prefer 2 to a page, how do you do that?

I have a little app called Swift Publisher 3 that puts the pages in the right format for a booklet etc. and then you just convert to a PDF. I do use Macs though so I'm not sure about PCs. Tony

Ok, thanks to Enzo and Tony - and of course Herr Sav - I am now the proud possessor of one entire set of AEBBA Rules, printed out on one double-sided page of A4 foolscap.
I will however need to take out a crash course in origami, as no matter which way I fold I can't get an acceptable follow-one sequence of pages. ;D

Tried putting the printed page in upside down - no better.
* Having made a detailed study I have reached the conclusion that if Tony were to reverse "3 of 8" and "7 of 8" it would read perfectly when opened out. *

It was designed to go on to 2 x A4 sheet, printed on both sides, folded and stapled booklet of four double-sided A5 pages! If you want it all on one A4 double-sided sheet it will take a little longer.... ;D Tony

Tony, so much effort has been put into getting to the stage we are at now that it would be a shame not to see something really beneficial come out of it. Let's take Chrissie Newson up on her kind offer made recently: But I can and would: Do the printing of anything for anyone (BB related) Give time back to an organiser on a desk, so they get a break Distributed organisation could help in certain tournaments. I am willing to put time in. Just let me know We have a great chance now to get the message out there....... 1. Your poster advertising this Forum, and 2. A small stack of AEBBA Rule booklets. ...to be available at each Open, commencing Oxon 2013. How about it ? ;)

As Tony says, wait until after the AGM, though it's in December.
I guess I'm spoiled on this as I have a full duplex printer and just print the booklets out, simple.
Sav.
