Hurst B 3, Horns Lodge 2
No doubt Ian will post scores later. The evening started with some very low scores, mine being the worst by a long way :(. A brilliant and exciting fourth leg by Jim made it 2-2, but the B's held on to take the decider.

Greyhound 1 Plough 4
Trevor 12020 Jan 920 Geoff 2200 Dave 3450 Peter 2150 Chase 2160 Neil 2180 Darren 7400 Ted 1150 John 4620
The match started well for us with me giving Jan no chance. Darren levelled it up with a good performance. Chase came from from behind in a scrappy frame to win on the 100 last ball, second week in a row for Peter to lose by 10 points. Geoff pegged a catch up break mid way through the fourth frame and we had lost the match. John played well in the last frame and would have had more but for putting the break down four times late on.
A well deserved victory for the Plough who now look to be the team to beat

A brilliant and exciting fourth leg by Jim made it 2-2, but the B's held on to take the decider. Darrell Skinner 540 Peter Shaw 820 A Black Peg from Darrell not helping his game Iang 3840 Dave Tiffin 160 We both had our share of the pegs, but Dave was unlucky on more than 1 occasion. Chris Kirkham 1360 Josh Bryant 340 Josh struggled with the pace of the table Colin Robins 5510 Jim McGlenn terrific game with changing fortunes throughout, Jim mad a good 3K break mid game to put himself in front, & Colin got the break back only to peg a winning 1K break. Jim ended potting the last ball for the win. steve King 6110 Kevin Stevens 2350 A slow start from both but Steve made a couple of usefull breaks to win the deciding game. A good night with the Lodge & I look forward to the return leg.
