Attached is my budget forecast for 2013.
Estimates are conservative, though one major van problem could blow it.
Table rental should be higher due to the extra tables, but van loading legality is to be established.
The van insurance cost (any driver) and the public liability insurance (£800 each) seem high to me, suggestions welcomed.

Looks a healthy budget with a realistic trading surplus target.
Was anything said about a table hire 'discount' (= one or two tables allowed free) for Berks Open ? Looking at the AGM's balance sheet, every time there's a hire an item appears for 'diesel' which is for transport to the appropriate venue. This is funded directly from the table hire element, and Berks Open (which had trouble breaking even) does not incur this cost as the tables are already there in situ.

Hi Dave, I had hoped you might have some input on this for a fledgling Treasurer. I also produced a budget forecast for 2013 at the AGM, I'll upload that as well. Yes you are correct in that full repayment will be difficult in 2013 due to reliability uncertainty over the near twenty year old van and the December cash flow bottleneck which see bills of £3k needing paying. I am also looking into the legality of the use of the van as it would appear that we are operating close to the load limits. Hi Chris, I'm more than happy to lend a hand with budgets, forecasts or reviewing the accounts if you need help at any time. ;) Interesting to read the budget forecast.... Could somebody (Dave A or Chris?) confirm the current price for table rentals.... I'm sure that it is shown somewhere on here but can't seem to find it at the moment? :-/ If somebody would like to email me a copy of the Van Insurance and Public Liability Insurance Policies I am more than happy to get some comparative quotes from contacts that I have to see if we can get the price down a bit for next year.... also when are the policies due for renewal?

PS. I have just had a brief chat with one of my insurance contacts who would be very interested in providing a quote for these.... he has asked to see a copy of the "Renewal Notice" as this would provide him with all the information that he needs about the existing cover that is on the policies, so perhaps somebody could email me a copy of those? His initial reaction was that he should be able to save AEBBA some money.... 8-)

I presume Mark has the liability insurance info as Dave A. does not, I will email him. I'll also email Dave A. re the van. Sav

On that basis, income from table rental is likely to be about £1,500 more than last year.... ;D ....but fuel costs will obviously also be higher due to the extra travelling and prices going up. ::)
