Nicest table I've played on all season tonight without question. Fell just short of high away break but went for score instead. Faultless!

Despite this loss away from home, the Bells remain in control of division 1 as the chasing teams lost as well this week. In a rather dreadful first frame Peter Shaw did just enough to take it from The Old Fella and a 2K score, the highest of the night, was too much for Tony Driver in the next. A point on the board for the visitors as a resolute Ros Appleby beat Josh Bryant but the match win stayed at home as Chris Farrow narrowly beat Dilly. A dogged performance from Neil Higgins against Fenella S-F gave the Bells an important second point.

Plough 5  HHUSC 0
The gap at the top narrowed once again to just 1 point with this maximum home result for the Plough. A hard start for the Club as first Darren Newnham and then Chase Newman hit 6K scores beating Andy Guy and Ron Wales respectively. The top score of the match was hit by Jan Bithell with a 7K going past Terry Gasson for the match win. A more modest effort from Richard Todd was sufficient to take the fourth leg from Mick Kirwan and the brush went on when Sparky couldn’t compete with Dave Knight for the fifth and final frame.
