Ted 890 Steve 6000 Paul 2690 Chris 930 Peter 6550 Colin 3250 Geoff 4470 Ian 1470 Trevor 7100 Darrell 1200
Steve made a very good start for the visitors with an excellent 6000 giving Ted little chance Paul played a steady game against Chris who had no luck at all Colin went off with 2K plus but Peter came back with 4k Colin then broke down on about 1K and Peter put in another 2.5K - very much the game of the night Geoff and I both played steady games to win the last two comfortably

Laughing Fish 4 - 1 Horns Lodge
(played in reverse order)
Jamie Hall 1180 - 1890 Fenella Steward-Fisher Les Whiteman 2510 - BP Sam Hall H 17500 - 440 Kevin Stevens Ray Carpenter 5160 - 1560 John Bryant Andy Brooks 2790 - 1830 Peter Shaw
Good night with the Lodge. Made some comments via email about their table trying to be constructive and supportive. Was suggested to me tonight that they may be taken in the wrong way. Apologies if they have been, Horns Lodge is one of my favourite pubs away from home!

Watermill 2 - Brewers Bravos 3
Gavin 1360 - Adam 6020 Lyn 2700 - Nikki 1800 Kim 1030 - Lynne 3540 Martin 2550 - Dave 1680 Mark 770 - Paul 3230
Some nice play from Adam for the first game, Gavin had a few chances. Lyn played very well with some good breaks in the second and Nikki was unlucky on a couple of occasions. Lynne gave Kim a torrid time in the third - a well desreved win. Martin fought well against Dave for the fourth game to tie the match. Your truly did not play well and was properley punished by Paul in the final game. A good win for the Bravos.
Many thanks to The Brewers for a good fun evening.

otherclub 2 Saints 3 Mick Kirwan 1320 TSO 2240 I lost my opening break of 1k+ and a later one of 3k. Mick also lost, what would have been a frame winner, of several thousand. I stole it at the death.
Sparky 2400 Roger Wallbank 590 Sparky binned his opening break but proved too strong for Saint Youth academy player.
Huw Lincoln 2860 Manly Harveys 3560 MH always seemed in control, although the margin was a bit close in the end.
Andy Guy 4810 Annette Christian 1250 Annette, making her Mid Sussex debut, unlucky to run into the best performance of the night. On personal note it was very pleasing to see Andy back playing again.
Terry Gasson 2310 Mat Geal 3460 Both players had a number of chances. Mat saw the Saints home in the local derby.
Thanks to the other club for a lovely night, food was stunning. Tso

The one delayed match report, ad verbatim from Roy:
Eight Bells 1 Plough 4 Two defeats on the bounce have dented Bells lead at the top division 1 whilst Plough still vies for the top of the Premier. The Old Fella lost convincing to Jan Bithell to give the visitors the first point with Darren Newnham taking a fiercely contested second frame from Derek Taylor. Dilly did the best of any Bells player and earned a point when beating Dave Knight but the match bonus went to Plumpton as Ric Bithell defeated Ros Appleby. A cracking last leg saw Chase Newman take the point from a battling Tony Driver.
