Mid-Sussex A won Division 2 of the One Day Interleague Competition at the Roffey Club on Sunday 25th March 2012, winning all 4 of their matches and finishing 3.5 points ahead of runners-up Billingshurst, with Lewes, Horsham and Hastings all fairly close behind. This emulated Mid Sussex's achievement of 2006 and meant that they were promoted to play in the top section again for the first time since 2007.
For 2013 the competition venue was switched to the Hurstpierpoint Club with Mid Sussex A able to enjoy the benefits of playing on home soil: Whereas 2007 had seen them trailing the rest by a considerable margin, this time relegation from the top section was comfortably avoided with the team finishing a commendable fourth behind the uber-strong Worthing A, Brighton A and Redhill A. Highlights from the day included a terrific 5-2 win over Redhill and some great performances from Henry Brooks, Derek Taylor, Bob Hall and Pete Edwards - all of whom managed three wins out of five. Richard Jeffrey went one better with four wins and an average throughout of 7602.
