15 Natash kinski, one of my favs. Roman did have quite an eye for a pretty young lady! Think it was filmed in France rather than Dorset, something to do with the fear of extradition.

15 Natash kinski, one of my favs. Ok, I did say this: a further 1.5 points are available (eg for first name, character's surname, book) So you get a generous 0.5pt for Natassja. And a further generous 0.5pt as you were obviously appreciated of the scene when (baddie) Alec hand-feeds her strawberries.........very sensual. :-* Still half-points on offer for reference to the novel and the character's surname. ;) Leaderboard: 1 Dunplaying 10.5pts 2 NeilH 10pts 3 Daveuk1 7pts 4 DuncanDisorderly 6.5pts 5= DaveJones 1pt 5= SpecialOne 1pt

15 You could argue that it was D'urberville, but the real answer is Darbyfield I think. Tess of the d'urbevilles by Thomas Hardy. Tess directed by Roman Polanski.

15 You could argue that it was D'urberville, but the real answer is Darbyfield I think. Tess of the d'urbevilles by Thomas Hardy. Tess directed by Roman Polanski. Enough there for 1.5 bonus points. Tess of the d'Urbervilles is a fabulous book and I found it fun to research the Dorset locations... Tess's 'birthplace' in Marnhull, the 'valley of the great dairies' (between the rivers Frome and Piddle), the mansion where she spent her ill-fated honeymoon (at Wool) and the church with a tall tower where her ancestors lay buried in the vaults (Bere Regis): Tommo's an absolute Hardy nut !
