Stout House A 1, Mill House 4
Sam Short 1570, Barry 1290 James Norman 1160, tommo 8690 Pete Trigwell 1350, Alan 3670 Pete Hartley 1000, Mick 5100 no player v Graham (walkover)
Great play from Sam to put the game beyond Barry's reach for the first point. Unfortunately the Stout were a player short, Tidy sunning himself in Egypt and Tony Lusby taken ill on the day...... we hope he is feeling better soon. Tasty food, good company, and table really good tonight. 8-)

Stout A 1, Mill House 4
Echo of Tommo's comments. A good evening but I don't think we've ever had so little luck on our own table!
Tommo & Mick's games were excellent, though, and Sam really pulled her finger out to continue as Barry's nemesis!
TTFN!

Blue Ship 5 Springbok Club 0
In order of play;
S Bailey 1110 B Hicks 700
A game in which neither Simon or Bill shone really, both found it hard to get the break back hence low scores. Bill was in front but Simon done enough with the bar dropping to claim the point.
S Holden 3350 G Marshall 2420
An early error by Gary let Steve in who developed a great break of 2k plus to take a reasonable lead. Gary eventually got going also putting in a 2k break but alas it was too late.
M Johnson 4820 T Goacher 1300
Again an early error by me let Mick in who initially did not take advantage. Balls were gathering on table when Mick playing some decent shots got the break back and put away over 2K. I did have my chances but was not my day with balls refusing to drop.
D Johnson 1850 K Nixon 1270
Both Ding and Ken had their chances with the lead going from one to another, at the later stages of the game Ding nosed in front and cleared the table as the bar dropped.
J Childs 5020 G Jarrett 110
Jamie always in control of this game with Graham unable to win back the break at all. Jamie put together some decent breaks to win the match comprehensively for the Blue Ship.
Great evening as ever at the Blue Ship, lovely grub and decent beer. Thanks

Dun Horse BFZ Limeburners 5
Grant Hope 1360 Chip Sawyer 7060 Colin Bolton 2370 Brian Goodchild 3100 Stuart Hope 2720 Rik Dewdney 5030 Dave Simmons 3450 Dick Dewdney 6530 Scott Hope 2200 Bill Hammond 2640
Game 1: Steady play from Chip kept Grant off the table. Game 2: Colin led the way but a costly miss let Brian in to take the game. Game 3: Pops, 2k on the board, miscued and lost 3k. Dude capitalised with a steady 4k. Game 4: Steady 3k start from Dick. Dave didn’t do much mid game. Game 5: Friendly game to finish, Billy Onions in front at the end.
Fun night with the Limeburners as always. Rounded off with the obligatory Pickled onions.

This is not good news for the Railway, for whom the visit to the Zeds is now a 'must win'. Whatever happens, the last week will be most interesting ! With 2 weeks to go this is how the top teams stand: Roffey SSC 23 19 0 4 79 36 79 Stout House Z 22 15 0 7 72 38 72 Railway 22 16 0 6 69.5 40.5 69.5
To play: Week 25 - 10/04/2013 Stout House Z v Railway Roffey SSC v Bye Week 26 - 17/04/2013 Roffey SSC v Stout House Z Railway v Springbok Club Meanwhile in Div.2 Blue Ship Nomads are left having to win their final two matches 5-0 and 4-1 to deny Mill House the championship.
The relegation stakes look interesting, too - here are the bottom four: Limeburners 22 11 0 11 56 54 56 Southwater SC 22 13 0 9 55 55 55 Three Bees 22 12 0 10 53 57 53 Blue Ship 22 7 0 15 50 60 50
To play: Week 25 - 10/04/2013 Springbok Club v Southwater SCAlfold SC v Blue ShipDun Horse v Three BeesLimeburners v Stout House A Week 26 - 17/04/2013 Southwater SC v Alfold SC Blue Ship v Dun Horse Stout House A v Three BeesLimeburners v Blue Ship Nomads With all matches being against second division opposition, there is literally everything still to play for !
