Greyhound 4 HHUSC 1
Trevor 6830 Mick 2840 Neil 3090 Huw 2210 Peter 3690 Graham 2420 Ted 1810 Terry 1950 Geoff 3250 Ron 1520
Peter's last bar billiards match and he went out with a win after a spectacular hundred shot to get the break back late in the game.
Very pleasant evening with HHUSC as always with Terry and Ted giving us a real cliffhanger where Ted just failed to keep the red up for a last ball chance.

Brewers Bravos:3 St.Francis:2
My little black book of numbers has had a oppurtunistic end-of-season bid for freedom so no scores at the moment. From memory...
Spud beat Roger Lynne lost to Chris: Cracking game from both with Lynne well ahead on 3k5 but Chris coming back to win with 5k Nikki lost to Shaun Paul beat Matt Bravo beat Bob
Good night to end the season. We are going down but do we have a spoon to take with us?

We are going down but do we have a spoon to take with us? I would think that that 'honour' would go to the Horny Ones after having their butts paddled by the Plough in the last game. ;)

Many congratulations to them on their title and the Brewbells in taking Div. 1.

My little black book of numbers has had a oppurtunistic end-of-season bid for freedom so no scores at the moment. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Good night to end the season. We are going down but do we have a spoon to take with us? Oh dear, it's a big bad world out there: I hope your little black book is safe :'( The Brewers Arms will miss its spoon, but I'm sure the Horny Lodgers will appreciate it. ;) Here are the scores from our match last night: Watermill 2 BrewBells 3 Flying Dutchman | 1000 | Ros* | 3160 | Kim Stenning* | 3490 | Neil | 1490 | Paul Blackburn | 1600 | Derek* | 3400 | Gavin Boyd* | 0960 | Roy | 1980 | Lyn Storr | 2770 | Dilly* | 2280 |
Kudos to Roy and Lyn who both managed to win against the break - not an easy task on this table! :o Many thanks to the Watermill for a very enjoyable evening and for the plentiful sarnies. 8-)

Just looking down the list of players' averages; would I be right in thinking that Josh Bryant of the Horns Lodge is the best newcomer?

Just looking down the list of players' averages; would I be right in thinking that Josh Bryant of the Horns Lodge is the best newcomer? That may have to remain a rhetorical question, Dave........ No-one with any authority (ie the Committee) appear to actively contribute on here anymore. However, I'm reliably informed that they are all regular readers, so hopefully a note will be taken of your comment.
