Definitely a game of two halves! I possibly played by worst game ever on this table in the first, losing everything I scored and Martin took full advantage. Colin and Ian played steadily to take the next two for the Lion and we were looking at a big defeat... I went off with 6K in the fourth and then reverted to type and allowed Martin to get close. Turbo then won a very close game with Colin with Col just failing to catch him at the end. Steve then played his usual cautious game to take the third and earn the draw!
This most immaculate of tables was unusually tricky last night, with a pronounced roll in the right hand corner and quite slow and whippy.
Jan came up with her usual delicious supper and a good time was had by all - those 35ml spirit measures will be the death of me! :-/

Bad night at the office for us, Royal Oak played well, but did have their fair share of the rub of the green!

That's opened the league up a bit Mark.. Some reasonable scores there - was the table playing a bit better? Tony

Tony As far as i am concerned, there is nothing wrong with the table, you just got to remember it is slow, which is why i missed the break in my first game! Didn't have much of a look in after that! Alan had a 6k break in our first game, i returned the favour in our second. Thomas had a near 5k break in his first. Terry had an 8k & 7k in his games. And yes, that has opened things up! We always have a couple of bad games towards the end of the season, just hope this doesn't come back to haunt us!
