Here is another themed quiz, this time with two differing themes... 1pt for each answer unless stated otherwise.

1. The front of the ship was reinforced so that the ship could ram an opponent breaking the hull of the enemy ship 3. Hagar the Horrible. Who used to go on the rape and pillage and come back with a barrel of beer. Actually the Vikings 6. Sir Francis Drake and Admiral Howard 14. Bt's battle with Sky. Blackouts during WWII 19. 2. Larger than usual galleys used only for warfare that usually also had 3 masts and sails. 3. The Vikings. 5. The Mary Rose. 8. England v France & Spain, the French and Spanish Fleet lost 22 ships in the battle.... the English lost none! 8-) 10. The German cruiser "Admiral Graf Spee".... it was scuttled by the Germans who had received (false) reports that a major British ships were nearby looking for them, when the British Fleet were actually more than 2000 miles away! :o

My dad was a Petty Officer serving on the frigate HMS Ajax (of Battle of the River Plate fame) and others deployed in the North Atlantic Convoys.
