Red Lion 5 - 1 Bletchingdon SSC Tony Willis giving duff information regarding the state of their match. I like you to experience the full range of emotions during a match Jonny... ;D ;D Kennington 3 Lamb & Flag 3 Mark Trafford 7720 - 1660 Martin Friend Ian Gordon 630 - 7600 Steve Walker Keith Hollis 3990 - 4650 Tony Willis Mark Trafford 2530 - 5920 Martin Friend Ian Gordon 10190 - 300 Steve Walker Keith Hollis 3930 - 780 Tony WillisVery even match in that we all won a game. Mark was not his usual sparkling self but Martin played well to grind out a win in his second leg. Steve had an excellent first game against Ian, who himself top-scored in the second game. Beefy and I had two scratchy games with me coming back at him in both games but unfortunately in the second game I lost a 4-5K break at the death. A good result for us and Kennington must be a bit disappointed after the euphoria of the weekend! Always a good evening though, nice supper, ants everywhere and the biggest moth I have ever seen.... cheers Tony

But you guys played well, we just didn't capitalise on the chances we were given. Must have been a hangover from the weekend! ;D It has almost certainly lost us the league now, although there may be some decisions to be made by the committee after Red Lion cancelled Friday's match against us as the pub have a steak night and won't be able to provide food :-/ With another date to play the game proving difficult.....
