Hi Mark, good to hear from you. I did reply to JG's PM to me on the subject. Bar Billiards Ltd might sell you some. They are easy to make. cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160105013624 and make it out of good quality heavy duty black duck (gaffa) tape, not the cheap ribby stuff. Stick some tape to the wife's chopping board and cut a 1½ inch radius semi circle with the point on the edge of the tape. That's all I do. Best tape has peel off backing but I can't find any at the mo. If anyone reading this knows where to get a roll of black 50mm tape with peel off backing, let me know!!!. White spots can be got from stationers etc Easy!! Chris.

Hi Mark, If Bar Billiards Ltd won't post you one post a reply here and I'll stop by to pick one up (I live fairly nearby) - then I'll post it to you. I don't know what he'll charge, but there is a difference between the originals and the tape variety!! I hope this helps Kady Thanks Chris JG forgot to tell me. :-X I will try Bar Billiards Ltd, I have made a reasonable 'D' but would like a more professional one if possible.

Hello Sav, I cannot find Duck (Gaffa) tape with a peel off backing. Have you managed to source any yet and if so where from?

A better choice might be black nylon repair patches, available from any dress makers or haberdashers. We bought a pack which was big enough to make 6 d's for 1.75p in Sittingbourne. They are self adhesive, with a peel off backing, and the nylon is totally smooth.
