4 Sherry 22 Cochise, the only Apache I can think of. 22 that one's gone now, there were several sub-divisions of the Apache tribe. 4 correct for 1pt. Sherry wine became popular here after Francis Drake sacked Cadiz in 1587. However the name 'sack' comes instead from 'saca' referring to the extraction from the solera: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SoleraLeaderboard: 1 BB Warrior 16.5pts 2 BigPhilMac 6pts 3 SpecialOne 4.5pts 7,11,12,23 & 24 left.

7. Christtopher Marlowe 11. Henry VIII? He strikes me as a bit power mad! 12. Henry VII and Henry VIII? 7 correct, 1pt 11 correct, 1pt - plus 1pt for the comment. A bit of a gangster ! Loved the portrayal of him by Ray Winstone, kept expecting him to come out with "Result !" ;D 12 can't argue with the theory, but it's not the answer (which is a pair of royal advisers) so 0.5pt bonus only.
