4 Wasn't that used to clean the barrel of a gun? Pull Through a piece of cloth to clean the bore
7 Sounds like some kind medieval weapon, I imagine a handle with a nice big head on it

16. I know that (Erich) Hartmann was the top Luftwaffe Pilot in WW2 and Richard (Dick) Bong was the top USA Pilot in the same war.... I don't know Pattle (perhaps British, Australian or South African) but I would guess that they were all the top fighter pilots for their respective countries in WW2? :-/
