Very convivial evening. Table played somewhat slower than usual but well enough. Fortunate for the Masons that they had my ex player, the one they head hunted from me :o. Good mates, good food, good evening.

Good win for the club and it looks as if Mark was the only one to master the table (which will be recovered this summer :D :D) Rest of the games were very close in what was probably a bad draw for the Plough.

Good win for Bletch against league newbies Masons B. Darren won his first ever competitive game against veteran Roy Wain 8-) when Roy had the black peg. Three good games for Pete (x2) and Scott on this excellent table. Please give this new team every bit of encouragement and tuition that you can through the summer - be nice ;). cheers Tony

Bill lost 2.5k in the first after a black peg midway through the game. Everyone was finding it very tricky to get the break back. I think 3 of the games were spent entirely (apart from the opening break) at the top end of the table. Split shot proving the downfall every time....
