Morning,
Being housebound and suffering from complete bordom has brought me out of Exile to continue the job that I was just starting a few weeks ago, at least for a short while. So here we go...
A tournament bracket, or at least a small example of one that I've spent the morning knocking up. The scorecard I made was bascially just a test to learn the coding nessisary to move onto grander things like this. Once you copy and paste this into your thread (code below) you can easilly just go and modify it in the preview window when editing the post. I thought it might be useful for local tournaments in particular, especially for leagues that don't have there own dedicated website, but also as a very quick and easy way to present information nicely for those that only use (or prefer to only use) the forum to keep up to date with information.
I can of course change this, add more players etc, but I thought I would sound people out first to find out if it's something people would like or find useful before I continue to modify or add or make others etc. So let me know what you think. If it's deemed a good idea then let me know how you think it could be better. If however you think it's a bad idea, I shall not continue with it further.
And please bear in mind, this is not something designed to replace/change/devalue other dedicated league websites etc. It's purely to make the forum better and more feature rich. I would ask you politly to remember that when giving your criticisms.
Here's the code for anyone that wants to try it themselves. Just copy and paste it into a message and click the previe button, and you can edit it like you would any other table in Word etc.
