Mill House 2, Dun Horse B 3 Vicky 500, The Greedy Fox 12,120 Margo 1440, Pistol Pete Edwards 3880 Mick 4230, Baby Guinness 5000 tommo 6210, Jenny Jedwards 1930 Mark Fraser 5370, Derek Taylor 1460
Excellent break (playout on second visit) of 11,790 from Jim to start the season as he means to go on. With two regulars unavailable on the day the Homesters were lucky to find Fritz in the other bar and even luckier to drag him away from watching the football to play. Best game of the night was the third, Mick recording a 3k break only to see Lorraine reply with similar to snatch victory.
Pleasant evening.

Pleasant evening. Lorraine's 5000 is the first Ladies away score you mention a sizable break but neither is recorded on the score card. Can anybody give me the break score, even if it might be beaten latter on in the season.

Unfortunately I didn't note it down (in the anguish of having to score three games myself and worrying about a fifth player).
Hopefully Lorraine has kept a note of it herself, and I would then be able to corroborate her claim.

Windmill A v Roffey H was played last night on a tricky Windmill table with Roffey H coming away with a 3-2 victory.
Good banter between the teams and tasty food at the end but highlight of the night was the opening shot of the second match when Martin missed the break.... and by missed the break I mean failed to make any contact with the red ball!!!!! In his defense he was told to play the break thin.
