In all fairness i think that coming dressed in your tails is a bit of banter as well as anything. I know i always have a laugh at the idea of it and i dont think embarrassing players or making anyone feel uncomfortable was taken into account when it was decided to be made tradition way back when.
I personally had a good laugh with Mr Warrior and Mr Trafford about it, all in the spirit of things.
I could be wrong on the fun side of it and the attire may be taken incredibly seriously and i apologise for blaspheming in advance ;)

Re the Ladies I'm afraid we owe them an apology as I only realised when I downloaded the picture that we had completely forgotten to take a picture of the Ladies.

Well done to the winners. Looking forward to seeing the photograph of everyone in their bow ties  If you can't wait, Norman, there's one on face book. (haven't seen a ladies picture yet  ) They all look like turkeys dressed up for Christmas! Very smart but I don't think it's the attire to play Bar Billiards in! I wonder how many kept it all on while playing ? milko  I can confirm that all 4 players in my group kept theirs on all day! I even played in a pool match in the evening with it all on - that received a few comments!!!! |

Oh dear, you can't keep anything secret on here can you!  I had to get the new waistcoat for "health & safety reasons", as the flying buttons could easily have blinded people if I had actually tried to bend over in the old waistcoat!  |
