The well-oiled machine that is the Stout House BB progressed with a 4-1 win at the Mill House. Johnny 780, Rick 3550 Tony 3030, Ricky 6410 tommo 5120, Vernon 3960 Margo 620, Dick 7250 Vicky 1210, 'Dick' Miller 3690 Mill House 1, Stout House BB 4 Some beautiful play from the Richards tonight. Vernon played well too but unlucky: his teammates rubbed it in with a 'chorus'. An entertaining evening spent in good company with plenty of larfs. A mini-presentation took place before the match to Vicky by Committee members Margo, Dick D, Ricky D and tommo of the new replacement Ladies Singles Runner-up Perpetual Cup. This is a magnificent addition to the League's assets and was kindly commissioned and donated by the current Champion Ros Appleby.

Nice try Jim, but the Dun Horse B will still only get four points for the week (not eight) ! Four points was still good enough to take you into second place, though, as the Roffey Y were resting.

I would like to point out the the "Mighty A Team" play only on a Wednesday Night, I will try and think of a similar name for the Tuesday team.
Any suggestions?? (Polite ones only please)

The Mightily Boisterous Ones ? Nice name but there has to be an "A" in it I was thinking about the name "Old Gits", but Twig would be offended, and it could apply to most of the other teams in the league JT

Dun Horse A 5, Plough 3B 0. Some good close games on the relocated top. Adam Bateup 4480 Alan Downs 1360 Roy Wells 3280 Darrell Skinner 2280 Jim Broderick 2920 Derek Jessup 650 Iang 2710 Chris Kirkham 2530 Richard Spurrier 3850 Steve King 2660 New location quite good apart from the table is in a colder location, we also had a nice present from Tarratts in the form of a new set of match balls which are very shiny & caught a few people out. The other addition is the new juke box which was put to good use. Paul you forgot to mention the catering so I will some very nice sarnies.
