Black Horse Rott.2 - 3 Glynde Club
Alan Brackenridge 1770 v 3360 Fred Pope (J) Kevin Hall 16650 v 1010 Mike Daw Brian Muggeridge 370 v 7300 Colin Southouse Jean Brackenridge 7350 v 5100 Chris Turner (J) Kevin Stoner 1440 v 5290 Nigel Pead (J)
(J) = Joker played
Alan and fred both struggled with the LH roll on the table, Fred kept ahead all the way with Alan Missing plenty of opportunities. Kevin was off early and gave Mike three chances to make a decent total they were declined, leaving Kevin to make a good total with an 8kish half way through. Colin opened with 2k, Brian had no run of the balls and Colin did, recovering the break several times on his way to a 7K score. Jean opened with 1900 to cancel out the Chris's joker, and continued to make regular 1ks and 2ks Chris had his chances but was unable to make a telling response leaving Jean a relatively easy run through to the bar. Nigel opened with a nice 1k ending up 3k ahead the margin was maintained throughout the match and Increased at the end to take the decider easily. Fantastic nibbles at the interval and a nice 3-2 for the visitors keeping their title chances well on track
