Those of you who have visited whilst we were at the Mill House may have noticed a clever piece of kit designed by the landlord which disguised the table when not in use and turned it into a buffet table ! A cover of extended length is required (210cm x 100cm), but the clever bit is the part which fits round the rack which looks like this from the front and back: The joy about it is that when the lid is affixed, a) ankle-biters can't climb on the rack and b) the baize is completely protected should a pint be spilled. And when not in use it doubles up as a cue rack ! When the pub closed the landlord kindly donated all the kit associated with the table and the locking front and cover fit a different table in our replacement venue perfectly. I have taken a note of the dimensions for publication in case anyone is interested.
