Windmill A 2, Windmill GG 3 Pete H BP, Tony 3080 Joan 1290, Vicky 1500 Mark 1470, Margo 350 Andy 700, Johnny 1430 Sam 2350, tommo 1130 First day of (unofficial) re-opening for the Windmill Lit, so we appreciate the efforts made to stage this match. A bad day at the office for the 'tommos', Margo was neck-and-neck with Mark when she suddenly did her party piece of 'straight through the black'. Tommo was well beaten by Sam who chose all the right shots whilst her inept opponent missed the break with both balls twice and missed staight 50's on both sides of the table. A good job has been done with the changes through to the back bar, now opened up nicely and this will be the restaurant part. Thanks for a good evening and well done to both Vicky and Sam, whose games are going from strength to strength.

Roffey H beat Stout House A 4-1 on a Roffey table that was not playing to it's usual high standard. The Stout House were very unlucky on the night and could have quite easily won 5-0 on a different day.
Iain 2090 v Glyn B/P - Glyn unfortunate to take out B/P when trying to keep a ball up at the end. Steve 3780 v Gordon 2750 - Steve took advantage of Gordon leading the break short to get a lead which he kept. Stu 2630 v Keith 2570 - I got the 100 at the second attempt to steal this one. Sam 4990 v Dave 2230 - A well played 3k break from Sammy mid-game to seal this including a couple of great whipping out of the 50 and back into the 200, only shot on the table! Vic 1190 v John 3210 - John kept adding at every visit while the balls just wouldn't drop for Vic.
Good evening's entertainment and some fine sandwiches.
