Mixed Doubles Quarter Finals Monday 3rd March 2014

• All matches shall be played on neutral tables and shall be the best of 3 games. • The first break for games 1 and 2 shall be decided by the toss of a coin. • Even breaks shall be played in the third game, the first break being decided on the toss of a coin. In a pairs match, whoever takes the break in games 1 and 2 may not take the break in game 3. • As per SCBBA Rule 42, Players may not practice on the day of the match on any table that they have been drawn to play on in any competition. Any player found in breach of this rule will be eliminated from the competition and the match awarded to his / her opponent. • If, in very exceptional circumstances only, a competitor is unable to play on the dates shown, please contact the Competitions Secretary immediately by ‘phone or email so that other arrangements can be made. · Captains/Landlords- If you could book your venues as always. Much appreciated. · All results must be emailed to stephenhopkins@live.co.uk immediately to allow the draw for the next round to be done with delay. · I will be emailing out later in the month a suggested date for the Ladies competition day. Steve and Lou beat Ding and Mick 2-1 at G/G tonight. Entertaining billiards from all four players, but good breaks of 5k from Steve in games 1 and 3 secured it.
