Congratulations to Denise Wills on her victory today at Salfords Clu, beating Bella Stoner in a close final. Denise also won the High Break Award with 7,270.  Ros Appleby and Pauline Withey were the losing semi-finalists, Jenny Florey, Ding Johnson, Anita Blackman and Michelle Baden all reached the Quarter-Finals. Colleen Park beat Tracy Guy in the Plate Final, Genette Nicholls and Sue Oakley were the losing semi-finalists. Many thanks to all involved in organising and running another great day in Redhill.  |

Congratulations Denise on winning the Ladies British Isles Open yesterday. I did tell you once you win your first one it would start the ball rolling for you to win many more, you have been knocking on the door for a long time.
Unlucky in the final Bella and well done to Colleen winning the plate against Tracey. I do hope we are able to keep this competition going as up to now it has always been well supported. I was really surprised to be home by 6.20pm (luckily as Steven needed his cue and it was in my car) it used to be at least 9pm.
Thank you to Gary for organising the competition and to Caroline and Dave Jones for doing an excellent job as usual + Colin for the lovely food.
