Limeburners 4 Springbok SC 1 M Davies 2100 T Goacher 820 Not a tidy game from either me or Mark, though Mark was considerably better then me. I just could not get the balls to go down. R Dewdney 5030 B Hicks 920 Bill started brightly, but left short for Ricky to push ahead. Bill unlucky with a kick out that took the BP whilst accumulating a decent score, which would have given him a chance. C Sawyer 4790 M Edwards 1150 Mike started well but Chip on his home table is always a challenge. As expected Chip played a steady sensible game, but Mike lost over 1000 during his visits and was unlucky on some very difficult shots. B Goodchild 1290 G Marshall 3860 The young Gaz Miester got to grips with the table better than his team mates and pushed ahead. Brian came back with a great break, which would have put him ahead, only to WP and lose his points. There is no justice in this game and though Gaz is worthy of his win, he knows it was almost a different outcome. B Hammond 2890 M Miles 1510 Malcolm continues to improve and pushed ahead, Bill slowly clawed back the points to gain the lead, and though Malcolm tried to close the gap, time was not on his side. A great evening and the table plays OK, it's just the players that could have improved Nice selection of sarnies and blooming lovely chips, Thanks

Hi, all.
Three Bees 3, Stout House A 2
Mike 1,110 Barry 850 John 910 Pete H 2,800 Lin 2,150 John 3,030 Steve 1,680 Sam 1,260 Dave 6,080 Tony 1,010
Some really close games - Barry was very near at the end, John was unlucky pegging a good break that would have beaten me, Lin was pipped by JT and Sam could have won if she'd kept the red up at the end. But Dave played a good game, the only one on the night to really get to grips with the break.
As always a great evening at the ever-cosmetically-improving Windmill!
Pete

Stout House 2 Railway 3 During the evening we were discussing how to confuse our Honorable Secretary by using aliases. Here is my take on it. Sir Richard of Plawland Sir Nigel of Worsfold 1,900 4,240 Richard lost his first break of 5K+ and never recovered, Nigel made the most it.
Sir Andrew of the Fin Sir Adam of the Outback 4,090 8,090 Best game of the night lots of chat...surprisingly!
Sir Rick of Langridge Sir Mick of Clackland 860 2,560 Worst game of the night with both of us trying our best to give it away
Sir Junky of the Yard Sir Mark of Bogland 3,220 300 Mark lost his opening break of 2K ish and then found the going a bit tough, steady game from John.
Sir Vern of Sparkland drew the knave of Walkover A very enjoyable evening with people I consider to be friends.

What do you say about a bunch of lads who buy a choice item out of the toilet vending machine and then try and demonstrate it on our new landlady !!!!!
tommo 4990, Jacob Ereira 1220 Mick 8800, Andy Scotcher 500 Alan 4850, Jason Duncton 2830 Graham 3390, Carl Tudor 2100 Margo 2080, Lewis Tudor BP Moulin 5, Trois Boussoles 0
Some good shots from the away team who are an emerging talent - watch out next year, peeps ! Also very sporting of them to allow Margo to play - and win on her birthday - when Barry failed to show. Super evening, lots of fun.

Stout House 2 Railway 3 During the evening we were discussing how to confuse our Honorable Secretary by using aliases. You could`ve put down the name Dick, 3 times, for the home team, as there are 2 Richard`s & another has the middle name Richard. That would`ve really confused JT
