With only three matches to be played everything is decided
Roffey SSC have retained the First Division title, with the Mill being a close second, The white Hart have won the Second Division with the Blue Ship coming second. Congratulations to all four teams
Also congratulations to Graham Daniels of The Mill who with 22 wins out of 26 games has won the First Division Best Performance trophy, and to John Thayre of the White Hart who with 21 wins out of 26 games has won the Second Division Best Performance trophy

There is talk about a three way tie in Division 1, and due to Richard being kind to the Compasses I have had to change my predictionns slightly
Stout House Z 3 Roffey SC 2
Springbok Club 1 The Mill 4
Stout House Z 5 The Blue Ship 0 (Unlikely)
This would mean that all three teams would be on 86 points, but because Roffey would have only won 19 matches instead of 20, Roffey would be third
So the decision as to first and second would rely on the head to head matches between The Mill and Stout House Z
The Mill recently won 5 - 0 at home, whilst the Z's only won 3 - 2 back in November
The Mill would therefore be champions, with Stout House Z Runners Up
Well I hope that's all clear

Thanks for clarifying that, JT Would still be tickled pink at seeing a final table with three teams all on 86 points, though. What an exciting finish to the season !

Well, we've no idea how it went elsewhere, but the Mill kept to our side of the deal, winning 4-1 (with a chorus owed to tommo) But did the Springbok lads make us work for it !
Bill Hicks 2110, Graham 2220 (Gra looking for vast periods like a lamb led to the slaughter, but just out of reach at the end) Malcolm Miles 1060, Barry 3530 (a competent game from Barry, Malcolm unable to make an impact) Scubafrog 2000, Alan 3230 (Trevor took a well-crafted thousand lead before Alan suddenly burst into life and reversed the situation) Gazza 3900, tommo 3080 (young Gazza put tommo to the sword, denying him the table time needed to adapt to the conditions) Mike Edwards 1240, Mick 2620 ( a nervy game, with Mike putting together some decent breaks but failing to bank them...our Mr Mike was actually trailing until his last visit !)
An exhilarating evening played in a good atmosphere. Great grub served up at the end: spicy chicken, fresh rolls with smoked salmon and cheese and pickle, and wide sausage rolls. Mmmmm !

Dun Horse 1 Railway 4 Daddy Hope 640 Mick 4,840 Nothing going for Stuart, I made the most of it.
Scott 4,500 Ray 1,550 Super start from Scott and Ray could not get going.
Grant 3,980 Adam 4,510 Adam off early, Grant made 1K ish, Adam back on for a battling 4K break, Grant finished it off....Good game.
Lee 380 Boggy 4,300 Nothing went for Lee after an early white peg Mark playing a solid game
Colin 1,110 Nigel 5,180 Best opening break of the evening from Nigel and he didn't look back from there, Colin had no luck at all.
Discovered a couple of things, Lee is better looking than Dave and the Hope family have a hereditary leg twitch. Apologies to Colin as he was going to do the post and I was going to retaliate. However I have nothing better to do with my lunch time so he can do the retaliation instead!

I'm sure Dave will be pleased to be compared to a younger model although I think Mick might be right! Finally the leg twitch has been recognized as an effective get out of trouble tool. Rather curious how Adam can see a three baller from every shot, combined with a leg twitch that could make a good game! An enjoyable evening followed by chip buggies and good banter, thanks guys.

Congratulations to Roffey SSC on retaining the Billingshurst League Championship. We (The Mill) always knew you were masters of your own destiny, but that final result was mighty impressive. Commiserations to the Zeds on missing out, but no doubt you'll be heavily involved in the various competitions to be played on Finals Night.

Thanks Clive, I think we had the rub of the green on the night!! 1st game close with Rick B/P at the end 2nd Junkie was put to the sword by the Twig master then Andy and Dick had a cracker with Dick prevailing I let Vern in early but made a 6k to clinch it And in the last Shaggy had 2 B/P much to Peggies delight and still came through A very loud night with the Zeds but who would expect anything else, great season with 3 teams in contention for most of it I wonder if The White Hart will have a say in next seasons title race having come up in style

great season with 3 teams in contention for most of it I wonder if The White Hart will have a say in next seasons title race having come up in style Indeed.....not forgetting a new 'mystery team' - although under the rules they'd have to start up in Div Two. And the three Railway boys would strengthen any other team in the case of a merger. Would like to say Well Done to my teammates who came through after being obliged to learn a totally different home table for the second half.
