Well done yesterday to Hastings who won the Kent Interleague one day it was great to see us make a massive improvement on last year where we came bottom. It was a great team effort where we won all of our games and well done especially to Ozzie senior with a 100 percent individual record. Brilliant to see a team again from Dover and Deal there and it was all quite tight at the end. The day was played in great spirit as normal and many thanks to Pete for making it all run so smoothly. Regards PO

The outstanding Player tonight Richard Corbold even with a ball touching the black peg after a roll round the 50 to keep his break and a nice cameo from Bob Osborne in the doubles which was handy as Sandy managed not to trouble the scorer in this game We've all done it!
Nice selection of hot nibbles and a cheese and biscuit chaser
Colin Southouse 9340 v 320 Gerry Goodwin Sandy Harmer 1170 v 9170 Gerry Fitzjohn Bob Osborne 2990 v 5100 Curt Driver Mike Daw 8430 v 1010 Steve Daw Phil Osborne 40 v 17560 Mark Brewster
Phil/Mike 8410 v 3950 Steve/Curt Dave White/Colin 1320 v 12400 Mark/Fitz
result Medway win 4-3
Mark Brewster continues his good form
Thanks to Hastings and the ashburnum for a great night. Excellent food and a good table.
Good to see a family rivalry with Mike Daw getting a good break near the end of the game to beat his brother. Some other good performances, as mentioned above from Mark Brewster, but also Colin Southouse killing off his game with an opening break of 8k against Gerry Goodwin. Some of us also had the run of the balls, sorry Sandy.
The final game of the Inter-League with Medway requiring three games to secure the title with chances in most games for the player playing against the break. Good wins for Geoff jukes, Terry Oakley, Mark Brewster and Kevin Clark dusting off his cue again, and with the result secure Curt made a break of 23,700 only to miss the last ball shot.
Thanks to the Redhill team for, as usual, an enjoyable evening.
