Friendly Match Vs Notiinghams new A.N.B.B.A

Hello to Bar Billiards Players of Northants.
After putting to the group the possibility of a match against another county, the enthusiastic response leads me to post here.
Looking at the list of venues you have it seems that the Cock Hotel would be best for us to get to, and also provides us with the opportunity of playing a 'B' team.
We would like to come from Nottingham to the Cock Hotel at some point within the next 6 weeks to play our first ever inter county match, looking at the scores posted for your 'B' team we think we should be able to challenge.
We are looking at it as a learning experience as we have never met a player who was not entirely self taught.
Our (provisional) team is:

Ben Crowe
Stephen Smith
Max Bollu
Amy Aplin
Daniel Overton

And obviously we would be more than happy to host a return leg

Any questions or ideas on dates on this thread please.

I have no idea what I am doing on this and seem to be sending everyone's messages around randomly, the intention is to contact Stephen in Nottingham as I am a Bar Billiard player that lives about 8 miles from where he plays. There is also a table in the Corner Pin at Morton in Derbyshire, I have not been in for about 18 months but it was a good top and they had a few locals that were keen, may be worth calling them to see if they want to put a team up for a friendly game. The landlord is called Steve and they have a website and facebook page. You would need to set up rules to play by as they allplay off the spot which is not good if you are trying to learn the game for playing other counties.
