Brewbells 1 Giggling Kippers 5 Derek Taylor 2,760* - 3,790 Ian Lelliott Derek opened with just under 2k and maintained that lead for much of the match before Ian got the break back to knock in 3k and take the game near the end. 0-1 Neil Higgins 620 - 2,260* Bill Kerr Bill was off with 1.4k but no matter what Neil did he simply couldn't get the balls back. 0-2 Richard Spurier 3,390* - 910 Dave Ingram Spud opened with 2k plus and it proved to be a repeat of the previous game after that. 1-2 Nick Brown 1,620 - 3,200* Tony Jenner A good 2.5k opener from Tony, Nick did get the break back straight away but lost his score and the balls stayed awkward after that. 1-3 Nick & Derek 1,960* - 3,750 Bill & Dave Nick off at about 1k and it started to look as if we could be in for another game like the previous ones but I managed to get the balls back this time. 1-4 Neil & Spud 3,140 - 6,540* Ian and Tony Best game of the night with Ian getting a nice 5k break in the middle to take the extra point. 1-5 Enjoyable evening with a terrific spread of sausages, chips and onion rings to finish off.  |
