Here are the second week's fixtures: Tues 1st July Dun Horse A 2 YO Stout House 4 - p'pd, played 07/08/2014Bull A 3, Windmill GG 3Bye: Bull B Downloadable scorecard here: Snookerette matchcard (blank).docx (16.19 KB) If anyone's still interested in filling the Bye I'm sure we could find ways to accommodate you. Following a suggestion from Gandalf, could teams aim for an 8pm (rather than 8.30pm) start especially when visiting the Bull - bearing in mind that there are 6 frames to fit in. Thank you.

The Dun Horse A are unable to get a team for the fixture next week. Me and Ian have agreed to rearrange this match and will sort out another date ASAP.

Big Bulls 3, Windmill GG 3. *Peter Payne 2310, Clive Thompson 2330 *Stewart Chant 1800, Tony Franks 2110 Colin Southouse 1670, *Mick Holmwood 1660 Peter Payne 3690, *Clive Thompson 2720 Stewart Chant 1790, *Tony Franks 1830 *Colin Southouse 2170, Mick Holmwood 1920
An exciting match and bit of a change from last year when the Bull did us 6-0. Tonight the GeeGees attempted the 'Eastbourne break' and got some close games as a result. A tied match seemed fair in the circumstances and we thank our opponents for a nice evening, very competitive - though at times lighthearted: capped of course with some very tasty pizza.

yes a great night yet again with all Games going to the last few shots, Nice to see the Windmill goin for the 50/50 with reasonable success and probably were on top of the hosts for the greater part of the match, A few interesting shots from Stewart and Peter and plenty of less than interesting shots from Colin who somehow managed to scrape a draw from the "Jaws of defeat"

Recovered my Cue and score card from last week, so last weeks scores now corrected on week 1 thread

The postponed match between Dun Horse and Stout House was played this evening with the visitors coming away with a 4-2 win. Paul | 1060 | Stu | 1700 | Richard | 1330 | Rob | 2060 | Ian | 640 | Steve | 1660 | Paul | B/P | Stu | 1350 | Richard | 1180 | Rob | B/P | Ian | 1800 | Steve | 1020 |
As can be seen low scores were the order of the day but was an entertaining evening and some good shots were played and lots more missed. Even had a visit from Chairman Clive to check everything was in order.

Good entertainment all round.....some good shots into the high scoring pockets, some meant and some not, good music on the jukebox and even some smut ! The result lifts the Dun Horse off the bottom and Stout now join the Mill on 18 points.
