Let's see if I can remember Boball v kevin Clarke Mark Brewster v dave Ingram Bill Kerr v Ian lelliot Mark Trafford v kt Semi Boball v Brewster Trafford v Ian Brewster ( just beats Boball) and then beats mark in final to win first open in 8 final attempts Sounds like a good'un and well done Boball for making the semifinal of a National competition - and for having tipped yourself to do it ! tommo |

Congratulations to Mark, long overdue but very well deserved.

Congratulations to Mark Brewster on winning the British National Off-the-Spot Tournament today, beating Mark Trafford in the final. Curt Driver completed the double for Kent beating Nigel Senior in the Plate Final. A big thank you to Pete Sainsbury for all of his hard work running the event and to everybody else involved in organising the competition and setting up the tables. Great to hear that £500 was raised towards the AEBBA Truck Fund as well.  |

Well done Mark B on winning your first Open and I now know who I'll be tipping for the next one! Unlucky Mark T finishing R/Up for the 2nd year running! Well done also to Curt in the plate over Nigel, so who beat my son Steven in the main as he must have beat Nigel in the 1st Rd of the Main competition ? Not forgetting to say congrat's to Bob (Gentleman) Hall for getting to the Semi's, he obviously was not "tapping up" every shot like he did against me earlier this year!!!!! Shame I couln't make it. Thank you for the kind words I had a great day playing and felt I played consistent throughout taking the chance if I had. Playing mike daw I was lucky nothing went for him after he lost his break. And with off the spot a tricky position for Kevin Clarke left me the chance to move clear and face mark Brewster who was playing well but can't wait for next year. An excellent day run by pete just a shame so many people don't score any games, but a great venue and loads of room for everyone to spread out.

Brilliant result well done Mark from us both  Don't panic Mark kiss from me - well that's what I am telling you  There was a great deal of monies raised from Medway, Kent Open and Off the Spot. As soon as Pete is able to give me a breakdown I will put all to Sav for the net  Superb venue and food... lovely staff as well as a well run competition !!! Thanks Pete |
