Railway 4 Windmill 1 Iain T 1,990 Dave L 2,460 Young Iain have his nose in front most of the game, Dave did well to clear the balls and get the break back at the death. Skippy 3,060 Steve E 2,010 Close game, Steve threatening but never quite making it, Steve's right wrist in a cast not making any comments..... just saying. Stuart C 2,700 Mike L 1,710 Steady game from both, Stuart just doing enough. Mick C 4,900 John T 1,640 Break back first visit, didn't look back, John struggled with the break. Mark D 1,470 Lin T 670 Mark managed to lose twice what he kept, Lin just didn't get the hang of the table.
Splendid company as always, superb food from Stella as always.

I make that 4-1 unless you have two of the scores the wrong way round.

Roffey Club 3 Springbok Club 2 Glyn Owen 2700 Gary Marshall 4700 Gary in control for much of the game, though Glyn fought back, only to find Peggy in his way on a couple of occasions. Dick Cable 1190 Robin Burgess 5060 Rob flew out of the blocks, Dicky had similar issue to Glyn and really could not get going. Twiggy 2670 Trevor Goacher 2430 One of those games I nosed in front for most of the game, Twiggy came back late on to nudge in front as bar went 600 ahead. I had the balls only needed to leave the red to last, but no it went down second to last. Lee Cable 6780 Bill Hicks 2720 A game that saw Bill miss the break and let moose in, however, Bill never out of it until the Moose put the game beyond doubt with a decent break as the bar went down. Steve Hopkins 9710 Mike Edwards 890 Mike started steady, but once Steve got to the table he took control and settled into the game. Nothing Mike could have done. Great night and fair result, could have easily been the other way around.

SOUTHWATER SC 3 STOUT HOUSE A 2 A good win for Tidy against an England player, apparently.
