Table Locks

Had some scrote break into one of our tables and wrecked the lock beyond repair.

Much Googling later, to my complete and utter amazement, I believe I have found the original locks, even have the same key!!!

Locks have arrived and they are not the ones indicated in the diagram, different key as well. Complaint sent in.

Further research and I may have found the original maker A&E Squire.

Enquiry sent in. Point of interest is that I never knew that there were different size locks on different tables!! which I have found from checking mine. They all appear to be the smaller or larger size in the link.

Ah well, some you win, some you lose, the locks went out of production in 2002, told them it was about time they updated their website.

The Squire locks now have in stock will fit our tables (both size locks) but the key is different.

My table's key was lost many years ago, so I have contacted Niche Locks and spoke to Craig Squires. I have ordered from the following link:

They appear to be the same lock that Chris found, not brass coloured,, but c. £9 lower price.

If it is just the key you are missing then that is easily replaced as they are all the same.
