Glynde Club 4 Laughing Fish K 1 Bob Osborne 3,690 - 2,310* Colleen Park Phil Osborne 3,520* - 2,990 Dave Ingram Sandy Harmer 1,480 - 12,370* Ian Lelliott Chris Turner 3,790* - 3,610 Bill Kerr Colin Southouse 6,850 - 3,450* Tony Jenner A well deserved win for the home team who were better than the visitors on the night, plenty of chances in most games with only Ian getting to grips with the table opening with 7,270 and then adding another 5k after giving Sandy a go. Plenty of friendly banter on an enjoyable evening with a nice pasta bolognese and tiger bread rolls to fill us all up.

Plough Plumpton 2-3 Albion Trevor 2810 - 1420 Lana** - nip and tuck most of the way with one shot making all the difference, Lana hitting a shot a little too hard and missing....Trev getting the pace right and getting the break back close to the end which was the difference **Geoff 3190 - 5040 Nigel - Geoff had Nigel in trouble most of the way but missed the break close to the end, Nige needed no second invitation Chase 3380 - 6650 Silent** - A break of 6450 from the away captain enough, then lost a decent second break but there was not enough time for Chase to catch up as he played the rest of the table out **John 1920 - 1690 Michelle - very close game this one with John overcoming knocking down the black peg to beat an under the weather Michelle Ros 1100 - 1240 Jack** - Jack twice lost decent breaks, but made up for it at the top end of the table, keeping what he scored as nothing at all would fall for Ros. She did well to keep one ball up as the bar dropped but missed the 100. Jack made no mistake sinking it clean first time to give him a deserved victory and a 3-2 win for the visitors There was a tad of rowdy behaviour in celebrating our win....a couple of local guys seem to enjoy the banter as well Navigating was very poor as a 9 mile journey turned into 22, heaven knows the route we took!!!

All of the results from the games last night are already on the Lewes Website. Latest League Table and Player Averages have also been updated... www.lewesbarbilliards.org.uk/Great work from Ric as always to get the information updated so quickly. We have new leaders in the League with the Glynde Club now looking favorites to take the title this year as they have a game in hand over all of their nearest rivals after their win last night. The handicaps for this years League Cup competition are also starting to look quite interesting, think these will be much closer than last years....
