Congratulations to Pauline Withey for winning the Ladies Grand Prix yesterday, beating Denise Wills in a close final. Some excellent games from all of the ladies throughout the competition with Pauline also winning the High Break Award with a 6.7k break during one of her group games.  |

Having now received all of the scores from Dave, the highest recorded break was 6,800 by Pauline on Table 1, which I think was the table used in the final.... my apologies that I had incorrectly thought it was 6.7k in my initial post, I guess that my memory is failing in old age.  |

Thank you Dawn, sorry you weren't able to make it. xx I really didn't know what to do about playing but Carol had said she would come along with me, Lin said, you know what Catherine would have said (before the dementia got so bad) "are you playing billiards tomorrow", bless her. I am so pleased I did now, seeing everyone and talking about Catherine helped me through the day and the bonus of winning which I dedicated to Catherine. Looking back I realised that Catherine had been going to the Ladies County matches with mum & dad way back in the late 70's & very early 80's.
