Hospital Club 3 - 2 Laughing Fish K Fred Pope 2,990 - 3,450* Tony Jenner Peter Payne (2200) 5,880* - 4,050 David Ingram Stewart Chant 2,900 - 1,600* Colleen Park James Bown (2200) 6,500* - 0 Glenn Chubb Mike Reilly (2200) 3,840 - 7,570 Ian Lelliott Well, we knew it would be tough to overcome the handicaps here so quite happy to have taken 2 points from this game. Nice venue, excellent food, great jukebox (although we couldn't find "Mission Impossible" theme on it), friendly opposition.... just don't mention the table.

Albion Brighton 3 - 2 Hikers Rest Lana (1400) 2930 - 3450 Kev S** - Father against No 1 daughter, Kev missed early, Lana didn't pot a ball for ages, then had a really nice break going which she pegged, then another one that she pegged and another....... Blubbering%500 lines 'I must not peg in my game next week' **Michelle (1400) 7690 - 1530 Jean - Chelle missed quite early but try as she might Jean could never get the break back and Chelle had a couple of nice breaks to secure the leg Silent 8280 - b/p Brian** - Muggy started off with a 2.6k break, missed and I got the break back and pegged early on. There was a bit of to and fro before I got the break back again and managed to play properly with a 7.9k break to put us in the lead **Jack (1400) 2110 - 6390 Chunky - JB missed the first break, Kev made sure he got in front before they had a friendly exchange with lots of goes each Nige 11,800 - 3720 Al** - Alan got a first break of 2.5k before missing thick on the one-up. Nige couldn't get the balls back, Alan did but failed to add many, Nigel got the balls back second time and made 11k and touch to give us the win 3-2 Enjoyable evening, good match, nice food, good company......things did get fairly raucous as the evening went on (unsurprisingly). There was some strange happenings with Alan's food as it ended up on the floor, and Michelle had some sweets go missing (well they were eaten........) ......oh and Captain Kev beat his daughter and got his prediction right, but Silent had the last laugh with his awesome?? use of the handicaps securing victory

Silent had the last laugh with his awesome?? use of the handicaps securing victory Superb match report as always. However, note to "awesome" Captain of the Albion team.... The idea is to give the handicaps to players that will then change the result of that game.... I can't see how that worked at all in this match (0 out of 3 success rate) so obviously I hope you continue that form next week.... In the meantime, please write 500 lines of "I must choose my handicaps better"!

Is that the idea? Didn't have a clue just gave it to our 3 best players and hoped for the best......victory 'mission' completed and Legs Stoner failed in his 'mission' 3-2 to the Albion 3-2 to the Albion not a saying you hear very often at the Amex but far more regularly heard in the Lewes League. Cheers WC

Plough 2 - 3 Cock n Balls Geoff Fairs (1pt) 5300 2270 Ben Procter (J) (0pt) Chase Newman (0pt) 2800 3300 Mick Kirwan (J) (1pt) Kev Huthinson (0pt) 2000 2820 Derek Taylor (1pt) Ros Appleby (0pt) 2210 18105 Bob Procter (J) (1pt) John Staplehurst (1pt) 3200 2180 Huw Lincoln (0pt) (J) = Joker played Great evening playing with the cock again. [Geoff Fairs] Perhaps Geoff found his fingers weren't working correctly after his evening of playing.... Yup, pretty incredible! Especially managing to halve the 10 hole to get that odd 5..... I believe the correct score was 1810, but I can confirm that I got the win and the Plough won 3-2.

Still at least the computer gets your name right Ron, even if the score is wrong I forgot to mention that I had such a tantrum about everyone getting my name wrong that I threw a whole glass of red wine on the floor half way through my game, which smashed the glass. Thanks to Fenella and John Staplehurst for doing the mopping up! - Roy
