Game 1: Exciting game with the lead changing regularly. John on the break at the bar to take the game. Game 2: Barney in front all the way, lost a 1k break midway. Grant came from behind to snatch the game. Game 3: Nothing going for our Colin. Sparrow flying tonight including a 4k midway. Game 4: Close till mid point. A hard fought 2k from Scott proved enough. Game 5: Another close game. Ricky on the break at the bar clinched it.
Fun and games with old friends and some close billiards.

Limeburners 2 Railway 3 Billy 2,130 Stuart 2,060 Young William taking the game as the bar dropped. Rick 920 Mick 2,160 Ricky so unlucky to lose a couple of breaks worth 4K odd Chip 6,710 Skippy 3,980 Game of the night, Chip continues in a rich vein of form, Adam scoring enough to make Chip work. Brian 450 Boggy 5,690 Nothing going for Brian, Boggy playing a very good game Mark 490 Sniffer 5,060 Sniffer using all those years of experience, again nothing going for Mark
A slightly fortunate win for the Railway, splendid evening rounded of with a nice spread of sarnies, chunky chips and Bill's superb onions.

Springbok 2, Mill 3 Robin Burgess 6990, Johnny Haigh 770 John lost a decent break early on, Robin then dominated. Alice Goacher 800, Vicky Timson 3560 Vicky winning the battle of the svelte and nubile blondes. Gary Marshall 5590, Barry Timson 4410 Trailing at one stage by 4k, Mr Designer Underpants then took Barry's trousers down, playing out time. Bill Hicks 1220, Alan Downs 7280 Alan's turn to be captain tonight and he delivered a performance worthy of the occasion. Mike Edwards 2670, Mick Holmwood 3540 Mick nailed it with his last visit but only after the Reverend had put the fear of God into him !
So the Mill snatched victory from the jaws of defeat.....Springbok's table looked good, especially on the break and their players are gaining in confidence: keep up the good work, lads. Some appetising fare was served up afterwards: cottage cheese and ham in brown rolls, onion bhajias, sausage rolls and doritos to complete a pleasant evening.
