Only Me Saints 3 Cock 2
Huw Lincoln 1700 Bob Ellis 1660 Huw ahead, but a 1k break by Bob gave him a small lead. Huw nicked it with the last ball
Ben Procter 4960 TSO 1120 Thorough demolition job by Ben, TSO all at sea Glen Wilkinson 260 Chris Little 5420 Top game from MH to start the comeback
Jan Smith 940 Peter Geal 1450 Jan lost her opening 1k break, Peter hung on
Liz Lancaster 740 Roger Wallbank 1450 Liz also lost an early break, with a 4 times down. Roger repaid all the hard work by Saints Youth Academy, and the final awaits.
Really good comeback from Saint's rampant lower order, and bad luck for the Cock, who looked a bit deflated at the end. Thanks to the Hassocks for their hospitality. TSO

So the final for the Team Plate will be between The Saints and the Millers.
The Horny Ones lost 3-2 to the Millers at USC last night, although it was a close run thing. For the second week running yours truly needed to pot the last ball to seal things in my game - against Ade White - and failed, so lost by 80 points. Wins for Malc Fuller and James Seaton gave them the match, although Kev Stevens and Tufty Croft ensured it wasn't a whitewash.
Thanks to Nigel and his team for a good competitive evening. Best wishes for the final.

Evening all
Just a quick one (have1% battery!) to say that the Bravos will complete the line up after overcoming the bees 3-2. Heroine of the night was lynne who triumphed from behind against darrel in the key third frame. Chump of the night? ME. Binned a very good break and was punished by mr g putting us on the back foot. Wonderful evening amongst friends. Great to see Mr. Lear back in action as well. And Ros, your table was lovely and deserved bigger scores. Everyone a bit edgy I guess.

Good luck in the Final.
