White Hart 5, Mill BFZ Sparrow 3020, Johnny 1030 Barney 5450, Vicky 1070 Dave Sands 1460, Barry 1130 Ricky P 5770, Mick 0 John Thayre 3660, Alan 1400 White Hart handling the idiosyncrasies of the table (rolling left) much better than we. BPs from both Johnny and Mick half way through didn't help. Not a Timson night, with Vicky minus her cue and Barry's tip coming off as he was about to put the coin in. Both used Alan's cue, drawing so heavily on its resources that there was little left in it by the time its owner took his place at the table for the final game. It was therefore left to Mick (who would rather have been at White Hart Lane rather than in the wilds of Surrey) to do the CatScan rating and he awarded 1.0 on the basis of all the holes being in the correct place. Being under the weather didn't appear to affect Barney's game (get well soon m8). Interesting bout of hiccups from our mascot Alli, fortunately didn't last as long as mine normally do. Some interesting conversation and a good tasty chicken fricassee to finish the evening.

Railway 3 Mighty Stouty A 2 Mick 4,850 Sam 1,690 Sam making the early running, having mucked up the break twice (doh) I managed to pinch the frame. Stuart 4,390 Tony 1,680 Stuart, dependable as ever, in front early and not looking back.
Boggy 1,460 Pete T 2,920 Pete starting of with 1K and then a 1.5K break, Boggy almost taking the game but had to go for a 'grandstand' shot at the end and lost his break.
Sniffer 5,240 Pete T 1,060 * 4 player rule Sniffer also mucking up the break first visit, finding his true form at the end, Pete unable to find his earlier form.
Skippy BP Hon Sec 2,030 Adam finding our top difficult (as only our top can be), JT accumulating points every visit and adding pressure.
Quote from Clive at the White Hart, CatScan rating and he awarded 1.0 on the basis of all the holes being in the correct place. Railway CatScan of 0.001...not sure all the holes are actually in the correct place!
Nice evening with the Mighty A's, Tony's jumper out-trumped by Sniffers....splendid spread of food from Stella to finish off.

Zeds 3 Alfold 2 Rich 1620 Dave 3060 Junk 4620 Mal 3560 Vern 7080 Gary 3290 Mick 5580 Kelly 3250 Rick 1140 Bradley 3730 A consistent showing from the Alfold Club: encouraging for next season after struggling for most of this ! The League title could go down to the wire: A 4-1 result at Springbok would win it for the Railway, but favours could be done to them by strong team White Hart who visit Zeds on the same night (every point taken off Zeds would be one less needed by Railway).

Limeburners 2 Springbok SC 3 In order of play B Goodchild 3320 B Hicks 2270 Great game this with both Brian and Bill putting together decent breaks, only time denied Bill the chance of a victory in the end. M Davies 1790 G Marshall 3010 A slow starting game with neither Mark of Gary getting to grips with the table, Gary warmed quicker than Mark who was chasing throughout. B Hammond 2240 R Burgess 3130 A close game that had Rob having to put a big score together to deny Bill "Pickle". Both played well and either were worthy of the win. R Dewdney BP M Edwards 1860 A game where Rick was out of sorts and could not get going, despite every effort to get the break back. Mike plodded on, keeping his nose ahead and Rick getting no luck took the BP trying to get something from the game. C Sawyer 4580 T Goacher 1810 I could get the split, but not the one up so left it short on two occasions letting Chip smash in decent scores to put me to the sword. Great night with lovely sarnies and chips. Bills pickles were on show and boy they were hot, hot, hot.
