Glynde Club 2 - 3 Albion
Bob Osbourne 1010 v 6590 Nigel Senior Chris Turner 2910 v 3860 Bella Stoner Phil Osbourne 2260 v 1040 Lana Stoner Colin Southouse 3540 v 5680 Matthew Knight Sandy Harmer 3070 v 0 Jack Baden
Nigel played really well for his opening 6.5k break and Bob fought back getting to 5.5 break in reply before felling a peg. Chris started well and opened up a 2k lead but then fell away leaving Bella to take a few good chances to post a winning total, Phil and Lana sparred for half the game neither scoring much on the "interestingly changeable " Glynde table but Phil got the break back near the end to give the hosts a chance of recovery. Colin opened with1.9k but Matt played well to reply with a 4k break and added points regularly to take the game and match, Sandy and jack we close for a while as well but Sandy gradually opened up lead forcing an error from Jack at the bar. Nice evening with the Albion, won't say any more about the table as its being looked at by some experts shortly

Nice evening with the Albion, won't say any more about the table as its being looked at by some experts shortly A fantastic result for us....(and others) Nige was awesome and Bob made a valiant effort, Bella kindly reserved for us at the last minute and did a brilliant job finding a way to score and keep them!! Lana had chances after Phil lost a break....but she did a great job on the birthday present What a difference a day makes for the captain as he was utterly and totally woeful in Surrey but a very satisfying win to seal the match...Jack really worked hard as the table became tougher but Sandy just too good. Thanks for the food, we had a blast and I am looking forward to receiving payment for the favours we did tonight

TJ after a good Surrey leaves his first one up short against Richard not the best tactic to bring to the table, my team said keep the pace on but I decided knew better!!!!!
