Glynde Club 4 - 1 Hospital Club
Phil Osbourne 8750 v 3220 Chris Haynes** Sandy Harmer** 4940 v 1480 James Bown Colin Southouse 5120 v 2450 Stewart Chant** Chris Turner** 5520 v 2520 Tony Smith Mike Daw 1980 v 5120 Peter Payne**
repairs so far, back right hand leg repaired, side cushions replaced by Marcus tonight, table played a lot better, still more tweaking required , Phil played his best game of the season on the Glynde top tonight which bought a smile to his face.. and ours1. Well done Phil. Sandy played steadily while James found all the ways possible to lose his breaks, Stew was off early giving Colin a chance but only managed 1.5k followed by losing 3k but another retained 3k left stew no time to catch up. Chris and Tony were trading blows in the 1st half, a 3k from Chris near the end put us on target for a 5-0 which we needed to gain ground on the leaders, With Mike playing 5 it looked like a foregone conclusion but Peter Payne had other plans and played the table as well as anyone tonight getting 3 nice breaks while Mike spent the whole game at the back giving Peter plenty of balls over holes throughout

Laughing Fish K 5 - 0 Albion Hollingbury Jim Millward 12,750 - 750* Matthew Knight Terry Molloy 5,820* - 360 Michelle Baden David Ingram 11,650 - 2,600* Mal Spier Ian Lelliott 14,090* - 970 Nigel Senior Tony Jenner 7,180 - 2,800* Lana Stoner A very unexpected scoreline but the home team played well and took their chances, nice shepherds pie with lovely bread although have to apologise to our visitors if they wanted any butter with the bread as that seemed to disappear in unusual circumstances.... As always a very enjoyable evening in good company with plenty of silent banter flying around....

It was definitely a never to be forgotten evening Well done to the Fish on their win....I think their side needs to be a little stronger to challenge for honours next year Well done to the 'junior' member of our team for top-scoring and thanks to Jim for the coaching session afterwards
