Hi all, for anyone who doesn't know and wishes to hear of this, I have been informed by Arthur McIntyre that Chris Plant has been taken into hospital with a stroke.
I will try and post any updates as I receive them but I'm sure we will all agree on wishing him a speedy recovery.

Just got off the phone with Chris, he sounds like he's on the mend slowly but surely. However, he's not got a lot going for him down his right side and I got the feeling he seemed a bit forgetful whilst chatting to him.
He's hoping soon he'll be able to get back to Wallingford sometime soon so he can get sorted out with care and what not. So encouraging news at least!

How is Chris doing? nearly 3 months since last update. Pete Chris suffered a second stroke a few weeks back but as to how he's doing now I couldn't say. I'm hoping if anyone else would be able to add to this news in any way.

Hi all.
I'm afraid I have just found out that Chris sadly passed away last night.
I played with Chris from the first day I picked up a cue until the moment he gave it up. He was brilliant to me, he used to drive to matches and opens and scored every game.
You'd never seen a guy find so many ways to smash the black peg off the table!

news indeed, nice person who loved a banter especially when players were in action. As Phil mentioned about the black pegs, probably why he lost his last 12 games of playing...….. RIP my friend. Pete.
