Bournemouth 2016 will be up for booking on this website by 6th September 2015.

Rooms will be allocated on a first paid, first served basis, please note this, especially for those that want a balcony smoking room.

If you want a room that you had before again, or a smoking room, let me know - but you need to state room number - or state balcony room and pay the deposit before, only then will the room be allocated, deposit is £50 pp.

Rooms will be allocated on first paid first served basis. Entry for the pairs is still only for residency at the hotel.

I believe the Jersey International v England will be held on the Saturday Night - which is FAB !!

Closing date will be January 11th 2016 for room deposits. Final balances by January 31st 2016.

I know Chris Saville did a great deal of chasing last year, I just cannot, you reserve, you pay by the date !!!

Friday 4th – Sunday 6th March 2016

Special price, once again reduced, of £99.95 per person for the weekend, for dinner, bed and breakfast. The Saturday night only is £59.95, and the extra nights are the same as last year for before and after the event: £45.00 DBB per person, £35.00 BB per person.

The single supplement price for occupancy of a double room is £9.95 per person per night, Children 0 – 5 no charge. 5 – 15 £15.00 per child per night.

Bed & breakfast for the weekend is £80.00.

Additionally:

• A raffle voucher to be used in 2014, for a two night stay for two guests for the AEBBA.

• Quiz and disco for the Saturday night

• The Hotel will provide £250.00 sponsorship

• Discounted bar prices:
o Carling £3.00 per pint
o Worthington’s £3.00 per pint
o Doom Bar £3.00 per pint
o All mixers and juices £1.10
o Draft soft drinks £1.00 per half pint, £2.00 per pint, 25p per dash
o Orange & lemonade £1.50 per half pint, £3.20 per pint
o Cordial 50p per half pint, 25p per dash

• Cheaper bar meals prices:
o Eight inch baguettes £3.25, choice of fillings
o Chips £2.10

Dinner in the evening is served from 1830 – 2030, and 6pm Saturday. non reservable tables. Guests will be required to show their registration cards before being taken to their tables.

Hi Doug,

No deposit required for a child of that age, the cost for the child (£15 per night) would be payable in full with the final balance that would need to be paid before 31st January 2016.

I have now started a thread (in the AEBBA Members Only Section) showing a list of entries received.

I will send out email receipts to players that have sent entry forms in that will show details of the booking that I have received together with confirmation of the balance due, these will start to be sent out once they have been checked by AEBBA Treasurer to ensure that they are correct.

I intend to send out reminders to players of the balances due immediately after the closing date of 11th January 2016 to give people the chance to pay this before the final date for payment which is 31st January 2016.

I am awaiting confirmation from Chrissie Newson however I believe that ALL of the Single Rooms have now been booked at the hotel.

All future requests for single rooms will therefore have to pay the single supplement of £9.95 per night for occupancy of a Double Room.

An updated list of entries received is now in the AEBBA Members Only Section. I have also shown a list of all of the hotel bookings received as a number of people have booked that are not playing in the competition.

A reminder to all that the closing date for entries is 11th January 2016, residency at the Queens Hotel is compulsory for entry into the competition.

Please note that all single rooms have been booked.

The draw for the competition will take place at the Redhill One Day Inter League competition on Sunday 24th January 2016.

Closing date is today with 106 rooms sold.

I need to look at allocations but in theory there are 3 rooms left only.

My thanks to Dave Ingram for receiving and collating entries.

New pairs entries will be closed from tonight midnight.

Spaces to be filled for those without partners can continue with residency at the Queens, unless this becomes full and then from others outside.

I am pleased to advise that all of the hotel payments have now been received for Bournemouth this year and an updated list is shown in the AEBBA members only section.... many thanks to you all for making payment before the final date that it was needed!

There are a few entry fees outstanding and these will be collected at the weekend itself.

One player is still looking for a partner so if anybody that is going would like to play in the competition please let me know?
