Ditto for us - the price of failure : AFC have just sacked our manager. He had a good record too, just 18 defeats in 160 games. :o

£62million for a domestic cup double is a lot of money!

For what was, apparently, a game between the best two teams in England - and two of the top 6 or 8 in Europe - it really was rubbish. No adventure, little passion. Really disappointing.

That is exactly what happens in a sudden death game when the two sides are so even on paper. They know each other so well they end up cancelling each other out and a 1-0 score line is almost a certainty. I think the game needed an early goal but alas it never came and a boring dull cup final followed. In my opinion the fans were cheated of some excitement in the form aof a penalty shoot out ! I know someone who went to the game and he said that it was that dull he nearly fell asleep in the stands ! I hope the play off finals next weekend are a bit better than the pile of shite we got treated to last weekend !

Didn't help that Ferguson decided that he would ignore his side's attacking flair and strengths, and instead play to Chelsea's advantage with 4-5-1 slow and defensive football. Bet Maureen couldn't believe his luck, especially with make-shift Chelsea defence.

I'm impressed Dave, all spot on. The final pecking order should be adjusted though as Chelsea won the 3rd v 4th Champions League playoff last weekend at Wembley. Apparently it was rather a crappy game. I'm glad I slept through most of it. ;)
