Any chance of this as a Word.doc, Dave?
Have been able to download a hard copy for myself okay, but not everyone's Adobe/Acrobat will be up-to-date.
Would like to link to other websites for general view, but needs to be a .doc rather than a .pdf file.
Thanx,
tommo

Thanx, tommo Sorry Clive, I don't have it as a word.doc, only as a pdf which is what I put on here and also emailed to the contact names that I have. It may be worth contacting the organiser (Gary Powell) to see if he has the original document?

No matter, I think I have a conversion file somewhere. Brain wasn't working very well yesterday, had trouble scanning a fixture list before the penny dropped that I was scanning as a photo rather than a document........nothing's easy when you're trying to rush.

Congratulations to Matt on winning your first of I'm sure many opens, also well done to nipper on winning the plate, even though it wasn't a high scoring final it certainly was exciting, and maybe if we had kept some of our scores it would have looked a lot more respectable!

Congratulations to Matt on his win and agree this could be the first of many. Another well run day in Surrey and thanks to all those who do the hard work to get these events to happen, tables were good and the other bar at the venue is excellent to use. Well done to Martin Cole on his plate win.

I would like to thank Gary and his team for a great weekend of billiards. Tables were set up well which showed in some of the breaks that were made on the day with Mark Brewster getting the highest break of k20. Im really pleased to have made the final yesterday and many congratulations to Matt on his first national win. I think thats the 3rd new open winner this year which can only be a positive thing for our game. ps Can someone please remind Matt Knight next year that its an "OFF THE SPOT" comp Curt

May I add my congratulations to Matt on a brilliant achievement winning a National tournament in such a short time of playing the game. Unlucky Curt but yet another final for yourself. Matt is also going to the "World Champ's" in a few weeks and is in quite an easy group (No disrespect meant) so I expect him to do really well, especially with those easy drop pockets. Well done also to Martin & Stephen in the plate. Milko

Well done Matt, excellent achievement. For a guy who's not played for very long at all and winning an open, just goes to show how gifted a player we have to contend with!
