Try this for directions from New York ! 1. Go to www.google.com2. Go to 'Maps' link 3. Then 'Get directions' 4. Type in New York to Birmingham (say ... anywhere in UK will probably do). 5. Read line 23 LMAO

You're not allowed to swim direct from the States to Ireland. For Northern Ireland you must swim to France first, then go via England and Scotland, and for the Republic, again swim to France but go via England and Wales. It doesn't like the idea of anyone swimming direct to Jersey, either, far too dangerous ! ;D
